Research Title

AIoT-Based Multi-Sensor Fusion Adaptive Wastewater Treatment System

Research Abstract

This research proposes an AIoT-based multi-sensor fusion adaptive wastewater treatment system. It integrates sensing signals such as turbidity, temperature, pH, TDS/electrical conductivity, and flow, and applies machine learning to assess water-quality states and decide treatment policies. The decisions are fed back to an edge controller to actuate pumps, valves, and disinfection modules, forming a closed-loop adaptive control. An anomaly detection mechanism is also included to identify filter clogging, sensor drift, and device performance degradation with timely alerts. With a low-cost, modular, and scalable design, the system targets decentralized scenarios such as school or household wastewater treatment and reuse, improving operational efficiency and reliability.
